Steps to Achieve Goal:

  • Discuss with AT how classroom routines are established

  • Observe the routines as they are established

  • Try different ways of settling the class, discussing the success or otherwise with AT

  • Set clear expectations about acceptable behaviour during different lessons, e.g. quiet talking while group work is going on, boundaries during outside games
